Anderson was a key member of three consecutive Tennessee State Championship Cross Country teams, helping the Stars capture state titles in 2017, 2018, and 2019. His individual accomplishments were equally impressive. Anderson earned All-State honors in Cross Country in 2018 and 2019, as well as All-State recognition in the 3200-meter run in 2018 and the 1600-meter run in 2019. By the conclusion of his Siegel career, Anderson had established school records in the Cross Country 5K, Indoor Mile, Indoor 2-Mile, Outdoor 1600 meters, and Outdoor 3200 meters. Perhaps even more remarkable, these accomplishments were achieved without the opportunity to compete in his senior outdoor track season. Beyond the records and championships, Anderson's greatest impact came through his commitment to his teammates and the program. His favorite Siegel memory was being part of—and helping build—a great team that ultimately won three state championships.
